Rather than having a two-litre TDI engine, the latest line of Amarok models will be fitted with three-litre V6 diesel engines, which will make it the only six-cylinder model in the sector. This means more pulling power and more torque to help you in any and all jobs.
The order books are open for the new Amarok pick-up truck, which will be available from all Inchcape Volkswagen Vans Centres.
At first the new model will only be available with a series of V6 and automatic gearbox combinations, but later on in 2017, manual gearbox options will be available to order.
The 4Motion all-wheel drive system will be installed onto all automatic models as standard, with selectable 4Motion fitted to the manual version.
On the outside, the Amarok has earned an updated front grille, bumper and LED head and taillights, while inside it has been upgraded also, with a new infotainment system, App-Connect system and Bluetooth connectivity.
The Amarok starts with the Trendline base trim level at £26,255 exc. VAT, which converts to £32,493 for non-business owners, and for the top end Aventura model, it starts at £31,995 exc. VAT and £39,381 for public customers.
