Volkswagen CV and charity

To continue the support of local charities, Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles has agreed a new deal to supply the Blind Veterans UK charity with five new Transporter shuttle buses as part of its fleet replacement programme.

These five brand new long wheelbase models will be used to transport the service veterans around the UK to the charity’s three centres in Brighton, Llandudno and Sheffield.

Blind Veterans UK helps visually impaired Armed Forces and National Service veterans regain life skills, deliver life changing practical and emotional support, and provide tools needed to be independent in their own homes with learning, training and recreational opportunities.

To help with getting around the country as efficiently and smoothly as possible, the Transporter LWB has BlueMotion Technology as standard and makes the Transporter a safe investment as it superb at cost-saving and making every penny count.

With an adaptable and comfortable interior, the Transporter was an ideal choice for the charity, and indeed for any charity, as the seating and spacious layout can easily fit 7 passengers.

Clearly, the Blind Veterans charity has been fond of the Volkswagen brand, with 35 vehicles previously bought by the charity - and the latest set of Transporters are unlikely to disappoint.

If you need any more information about the Transporter range, contact your nearest Volkswagen Commercial Vehicle centre.
