As one of the most iconic body shapes in the motoring world, the Beetle is a classic and now a modern design choice, with its bold coupé styling and sporty features.
For the second half of 2016, Volkswagen has introduced new accessories and features to the Beetle to make it even more appealing. To replace the Sport line trim, VW has brought in the R-Line, which is available on the 2.0-litre TDI 150 PS diesel, and can be used in combination with the six-speed manual or six-speed DSG transmission.
The R-Line also comes with sports suspension, 18-inch 'Twister' alloys, an R-Line bumper and sporty rear tailgate spoiler. With further options exclusive to the R-Line trim, it is an excellent new option to pick.
Some of Volkswagen's technological features are now included as standard on the R-Line version, such as two-zone climate control with automatic air recirculation, ambient lighting, front and rear parking sensors and cruise control.
The Black Style pack is also being introduced to be fitted to the Beetle in Design trim, which includes 17-inch 'Rotor' black alloy wheels and a black painted roof, as well as the black air intakes, decorative trim stripes and protective side mouldings. Along with chrome strip and black mirror caps, the Black Style pack costs £625.
With other new colours, packs and features available to be fitted to your Beetle among this new raft of options, you can continue to be spoiled for choice when finding the right Beetle for you.
