Two of the biggest companies in the automotive and audio industries have teamed up to help reimagine the small car industry with added style and entertainment features.
Volkswagen and beatsaudio, run by hip-hop royalty Dr Dre, have partnered up to design new trim levels for the up! supermini and Polo hatchback to add extra excitement to VW’s small car range.
By adding a 300W audio system with 7 speakers strategically placed around the interior, and extra cosmetic features for both the up! and the Polo, the Beats trim line adds modern style and vigour to both ranges.
For the up! Beats trim line, 15-inch ‘Radial’ alloy wheels, Beats-specific deisgn decals and interior cosmetic features, such as beatsaudio badges and dashboard cover.
The Polo Beats also has many added design features, such as 16-inch ‘Syenit’ alloys, coloured wing mirrors and black gloss radiator grille, whilst on the interior, the Beats trim adds monogramed seats with the Beats logo, special door and trim panels, and special coloured seatbelts. Like the up!, decals are also added to the exterior and you have an option of five paints choices.
With the up! Beats coming later in the summer of 2016, the Polo Beats is now available to order, with a starting price of £14,510.
