Volkswagen Golf GT Edition
Volkswagen has increased the appeal of some of its most popular models with value-added trim levels for 2016.

There are four new specifications for the Polo, Golf, Passat and Passat Estate, replacing existing grades and bringing improved equipment levels.

Replacing the SE trim for the Polo model is the new Polo Match. Like the Golf Match, this is a particularly popular nameplate in the model's history and adds around £900 of extra equipment to the car. Now coming as standard are cruise control, front and rear parking sensors, front foglights with corner light function, tinted rear windows and new 15-inch alloy wheels.

The new Polo Match is priced at just £100 more than the old model, with prices starting at £12,735 and available in three and five-door bodystyles with a wide range of Polo engine and transmission options.

Golf models gain two new trim levels, with the GT Edition and R-Line Edition replacing the GT and R-Line models. Both cars gain items that include 18-inch alloy wheels and a panoramic sunroof - nearly £1,800 of additional equipment. The GT Edition will start at £23,915 and the R-Line Edition from £24,860 - just £300 and £250 more than the cars they replace respectively.

The Passat range, for both saloon and estate models, loses the SE specification in favour of the new SE Business trim. The new grade adds equipment like electric folding door mirrors, tinted windows, front foglights and the Discover Navigation system, again for a mere £100 more than the outgoing model.

All of the new specification models are available to order right now. For details on the Polo, Golf and Passat models, please click the relevant links, or click here to see our latest offers.
