Am I Eligible For Motability?

Inchcape Volkswagen has everything you need to know for checking your Motability eligibility. To be eligible for a car with us through the VW Motability scheme, you must be in receipt of one of the following:
  • Higher Rate Mobility Component (HRMC) of the Disability Living Allowance (DLA).
  • Enhanced Rate Mobility Component (ERMC) of the Personal Independence Payment (PIP).
  • War Pensioner’s Mobility Supplement (WPMS).
  • Armed Forces Independence Payment (AFIP).

  • Please note: If you choose a contract hire car package, you must have at least 12 months of award length remaining. For customers choosing to buy a car with a hire purchase agreement, it is normally expected that you will be receiving the allowance for the full length of the agreement.
Furthermore, with the contract hire package you don't need to drive. You can nominate up to two drivers who may be friends or relatives, and parents or carers can apply on behalf of a child aged three years and upwards.
Please bear in mind that proposed drivers must not have any serious driving convictions, disqualifications or endorsements within the last five years. There are also some restrictions on drivers under 25 and those with provisional licences.
If you have successfully checked your eligibility for Motability, then you don’t need to worry about any waiting lists, credit checks or assessments. Simply find the Volkswagen best for you today by clicking here.
